Ghanaian avid actress and movie director, Shirley Frimpong Manso with her Sparrow Productions has given birth to another baby. The drama 21 Days Inside will stream digital store from December 24, 2021.
That is quite a suitable time for the release, on the very day of Christmas. The movie was set in the lockdown era. In fact, the era has been an inspiration for a lot of stories. Notably, Kobi Rana coined his Love and Lockdown from the era.
The Sparrow Productions’ version unveils the unfavourable situations a landlady met after renting off an apartment to a man. On the morning that Accra went on lockdown, this woman had to share her beautiful apartment with a young man who has made prior arrangements to rent from her.
They had to spend the entire 21 Days Inside as the space as the lockdown lasted.
The drama series featured Nadia Buari, John Dumelo, Ken Attoh, Shirley Frimpong Manso, Godwin Namboh, Michael Katahena and others.
The producer has a special niche for herself. A lot of movie lovers in Ghana respects her for her masterpieces. In fact, every piece Shirley Frimpong Manso receives a positive welcome – the works speak for themselves.
One of the notable productions that carved the loving niche for her was The Perfect Picture in 2009. Then, a decade later, she came in with The Perfect Picture: Ten Years Later. And yes, both classics did just amazing. In December 2019, her film Potato Potato started streaming on Netflix.
Interestingly, her husband, Ken Attoh, her business partner features in most of their production.
Talking about 21 Days Inside, she revealed that the most difficult part was finding the character for the landlady. After all the thinking and analysis, she realized Nadia Buari embodies all the mixed virtues she had conjured for a character. Nadia played the character Faith.
However, the 21-episode series will be available solely on Sparrow Station.
