Ghanaian award-winning rapper, singer and songwriter, M.anifest in a latest update has unveiled the tracklist of his much-anticipated album Madina To The Universe (MTTU). The style, wordplay and wordsmithing prowess the act possesses makes him untouchable. Incredibly, he has a special niche in the industry with the kind of music he does – totally exceptional.
“It’s been a painstaking journey molding these tracks into the beauties they are and stringing them together as one cohesive piece. Grateful to all my collaborators for showing up and showing out. Madina To The Universe this Thursday.
Love is love ❤️,“ he captioned.
Mdot out of the 15 tracks released four as a snippet to the amazing world MTTU has to offer. The already hit No Fear came in first. It featured Ghanaian America based rapper signed unto Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, Vic Mensa and Moliy. After enjoying massive airplay and praises he shook the industry with Confusion, then Scorpio Flow and finally the people’s favourite so far – La Vida.
Other tracks on the MTTU musical collection include Bob and Weave, Best For You, Weeping Clouds, Game Over, Unicorn Flow, Clean and Pure, E No Easy, 1000 Ways, Scars and finally Blessings.
It seems the rapper is fond of the Kosoko family. M.anifest featured Simi for Big Mad off his most recent album, The Gamble in 2019. Two years down the line he is featuring her husband Adenkunle God for Game Over of the MTTU project.
Other featured artists are Ladipoe, Patoranking and Tiggs Da Author. Apparently, no Ghanaian based mainstream act appeared on the Madina To The Universe.
MTTU is available on musical shelves from November 18, 2021. God MC, born Kwame Ametepee Tsikata revealed why he wants to project Madina To The Universe. In a note shared on his timeline, according to him;
“Madina is ‘my village’ within ‘my city. A formative place for me as a child. Beyond memory is where my mom and grandma still live, alongside colourful people and places that have shaped the window through which I see the world.”
“This album is a reflection of life’s journey as well as a statement of ambition. The journey to its release has been fraught with last-minute challenges. Fortunately, it was better for it.”
“I hope this body of work allows you to see yourself and your universe in ways you haven’t previously, as it has done for me. Love is love,” he concluded.
