Ghanaian musician born Peter Fameyeh Bozah with the stage name Fameye is set to thrill fans with a new song this year. According to him, the song dubbed Self Help will tell a beautiful story.
Fameye is known for his storytelling approach in delivering his arts. Some music lovers say that his style is like Okomfour Kwadee. Stepping into the limelight, there have been a series of controversies surrounding him but they never bring him down.
There were headlines on his responses to questions about weed smoking. According to him, he will smoke the substance if the government makes it legal. In other news too, he said that weed is just like salad, so for him, he eats it with waakye. Briefly, he doesn’t smoke weed but laces it with meals.
And about a year ago, he made headlines after admitting that he had abortions with his girlfriends because he was very broke. Thankfully, now they have a boy.
Then the most recent controversy is the brouhaha with Ogidi Brown, the alleged manager and helper who gave him the shot into the limelight.
One thing to note is Fameye remained still and about throughout the backlashes and humiliations these controversies came with. As a matter of fact, through it all, he earned love also for being honest with his revelations or expressions. And I think that also counted.
Talking about music, anything Fameye is celebrated and we believe Self Help won’t be odd. Some graphics shared on his timeline tried to give a gist about the song.
Interestingly, it showed Fameye tied with a rope, and the same person losing the rope. Yes, you need to untie yourself, nobody will.
Self Help drops next week. Liquidbeatz produced it.
