The first musician to incorporate rap forms into local Highlife rhythms, Gyedu Blay Ambolley together with Kofi Kinaata has featured on Pappy Kojo’s most current single dubbed All Day All Night.
The 74 years hasn’t really lost his touch with beat and rhythms, he delivered. In fact, the tune is all about the West Side, how affectionately the Westerners in Ghana label their art.
Moreover, Pappy Kojo is musically active this year. About a few weeks ago he dropped My Heart which featured Kuami Eugene and it was a hit. Besides, he teased his fans with a fake Logos II album, but it seems it was not a mere tease. Even though it was a lie that he has released it, it was a project underway.
Yesterday he dropped it on almost all digital streaming platforms. People are already telling about their favourites from the list. Interestingly, it seems Believe where he featured Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthur is the thrill.
Also, All Day All Night is from the album. Logos II featured mainstream celebrities in Ghana, the likes of Sarkodie, Adina, Akan, Fameye, Joey B and others. You can see all the tracklist and featured artists here.
But for now, just enjoy the video of All Day All Night below.
