Ghanaian rapper and early proponent of the genre Twipop, Darlington Kwasi Agyekum, professionally known as Dr Cryme is back to the musical street with an EP. It dropped on April 1, 2021.

Frankly, with his long stay in the industry, I bet you don’t expect anything less of quality from him. Kwasi it’s making waves already. The 35-year-old stepped into the industry in 2009 and has not stopped thrilling fans with music that fall into the genre he propounded. In fact, he even named his record label after it – Twipop Recordz.

At least, every year, Dr Cryme will drop a tune to cement his consistency in the game. Most of his calibre that together made big names in the past have fallen out, yet he is still up and going. The Tema rapper became a household name after his first hit single Kill Me Shy in 2010. Incredibly, it earned him the Hiplife Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards 2012.

Last year, Dr Cryme released Chicken Change which was mix mastered by Mix Master Garzy. And in 2018 too he dropped Craze for Baby on which he featured Qweccy Plus. In 2021, he comes off with the Kwasi EP.

The EP is available on almost all streaming platforms. The 5-track EP featured Tammy, Amerado, Stay Jay, Flema T. Respectively, the tracks are Wo Soa, I Wanna Turn Up, Kropot, Too Known, and Atanfo.
