. This America based Ghanaian journalist, Kevin Taylor has set social media roaring again. He has asserted that the former President John Mahama should stop meeting with criminals. It is just as the good book says light has nothing to do with darkness.

The former flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) revealed that he met Gabby Otchere-Darko today. According to him, the special advisor to the President Akufo-Addo requested to meet him at his residence.

Among other things, they discussed how Ghanaians love to see the two major political parties working together for the interest of the nation.

Also, they discussed how to deploy dialogue to ensure Parliamentary issues are agreed consensually before coming on the floor to avoid what happened recently in the House.

John Mahama also revealed that they further discussed opening channels of communication between the leaders of the two parties. This includes a possible meeting with the President at a future date.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, President Akufo-Addo had said that the NDC has not given any key idea or intervention in the country.

Therefore, a section of Ghanaians translated the meeting with Otchere-Darko as double standard. They complained that John Mahama shouldn’t have welcomed him.

Adding his voice to the matter, Kevin Taylor has cautioned the former president to go into pastoral service since he wants to play Mr Nice guy. Besides, he asserted that he should stop meeting with criminals.

“John Mahama must stop Meeting Criminals
If Mahama want to be Mr Nice Guy always, he should quit Politics to become A Pastor.”
The journalist in most cases has been a mouthpiece for the NDC. Unarguably, he affiliates to the party. However, he outspokenly expresses his view even if it goes against a member of the party.

With this caution to the former president, he ended this with the hashtag ‘focus’.
