Ghanaian veteran actress, Kalsuome Sinare like many others, has defied to return to school at her age and exposure in life. The actress who has seen almost all that life has to offer deemed it worth it for her to go back to the classroom.
In 2007, the actress, wife and mother of three took a bold step to the premises of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
According to her, “It was fascinating indeed because at my age and what I have achieved, I thought I had it all.” Therefore, she pondered severally on whether to make the move or not.
“Should I return to school to sit with the younger ones? Will I make it?
To my surprise on the first day of lectures, I found myself in class with all age groups and calibre of people…”
Kalsuome Sinare found herself within the walls of GIMPA to pursue a degree in Public Service and Governance.
People praised her for her ambition. According to many, she was already an inspiration to people. And yet, she challenged herself to come out of her comfort zone to take on a course.
Four years later, her decision paid off in the end.
Celebrating the win, the actress and screen goddess quoted Brian Herbert. She stated, “The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice.” She made a choice to learn. It paid off in the end. I am proud of myself. Congratulations to me.”
Also, she thanked Allah and her family for the support they rendered for her to realize her dreams.

According to reports, Kalsuome Sinare earned Second Class Upper honours.
