    King promise

    Talented Ghanaian Highlife and Afrobeat star, Gregory Bortey Newman with the stage name King Promise is the latest to sign up Nigeria’s singer Patoranking for a banger. Choplife has dropped and according to the singer, “You need your dancing shoes for this one.”

    With his silky voice and awesome lyricized tunes, Promise has carved an enviable niche for himself. Every piece of music from his camp receives its awesomely, necessary appeal and reactions. In this year, 2021, he released a couple of singles too. The two amazing singles include Ring My Line which he featured Headie One and Slow Down. Meanwhile, he has featured on several projects for colleagues. As a result, he has been musically active throughout the year.

    One of the notable King Promise events is his appearance at the mind bursting Wizkid O2 Arena concert. That night was epic – and all artists that stood on the platform earned from the influence. Showing appreciation for the opportunity, he shared;

    “Unforgettable moments last night. Grateful for the Love forever King @wizkidayo! Thank you, London! Just a boy from Nungua crazy enough to dream big rocking the O2 💪🏾🇬🇭.”

    Choplife talks about money and enjoyment. It talks about the daily hustle to acquire wealth to access necessities and luxuries and in life. Spanker produced the 3mins 33-sec banger.

    The record producer, born Tevin Irvin Plaat is a hit producer from Amsterdam. He has a lengthy and steady track record of hits. Actually, he produced a song for Chris Brown’s mixtape OH x Section Boyz. Also, he produced three songs for British rapper M.I.A for her latest album AIM.

    Apparently, his employment for Choplife is a calculated attempt by King Promise to fuel his global ambition. And yes, Patoranking feature confirms it. The fact is among all the Nigerian musical talents fusing with Ghanaians, the latter is outstanding. Unarguably, he has done more collaborations with Ghanaians than any other Nigerian act.

    In this year alone, he joined Kofi Kinaata for Something Nice. He featured on Kidi’s Spiritual alongside Kuami Eugene. Lately, he appeared on M.anifest’s Madina To The Universe as well. These and many more others. It all started when he featured Sarkodie for No Kissing Baby hit. Thus, after his massive breakthrough with Girlie O.
