new black panther

The sudden passing of Chadwick Boseman; Black Panther shook the four corners of the earth. With the announcement of a sequel to the blockbuster, fans ponder over the new actor who is taking the role. The idea for a sequel came after the successful release of the initial instalment in February 2018.

The Marvel Studios’ blockbuster is an outstanding film that presents the positivity of the African continent in an appealing way. It received massive acceptance all over the world. Definitely, the sequel which development started in mid-2019 can also break Box Office records.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been cooked already. As of now, it has been released in only Hollywood on October 26, 2022. On Friday, November 11, it will have a United States release, worldwide. Moreover, on Sunday, November 6, it had a premiere in Lagos, Nigeria – not confirmed.

So far, there is no character replacement for T’challa which Chadwick Boseman played. This means that Marvel Studios has kept its word. Upon his demise, they stated that to honour the legacy of Boseman, the Black Panther sequel won’t recast the role of T’challa. Therefore, there is no new actor to assume the character.

“There’s only one Chadwick and he’s not with us,” Marvel Studios’ Victoria Alonso said. According to Marvel, the entire sequel, is, in fact, to honour the 21 Bridges actor. However, one can conclude that a Black Panther movie won’t make a lot of sense without a hero. Definitely, there could be one; someone to rise up for defence. A new hero there could be, but that character wouldn’t be T’challa.

Almost all the characters in the first instalment reprised their roles. However, Michael B. Jordan didn’t show up on the list.
